This paper examines that whether the fast-growing internet finance can promote financial availability and alleviate financial exclusion for the farmers. Using a sample of peasant household survey data, we divide rural internet financial exclusion into three dimensions-wealth management, credit and payment, and develop a methodology for measuring the extent of internet financial exclusion. We find that the level of internet financial exclusion is surprisingly high, especially in savings and credit. This can be mainly due to self-exclusion, which is related to age，income，family size，time to the nearest bank and whether having online shopping or sales experience. Additionally, we study the connection between traditional credit and Internet credit, and imply that exclusion by traditional credit increases the likelihood of exclusion by internet credit.
